CRA has developed, Heat Regeneration System, most efficient system for waste heat recovery from furnace gases or any other hot gas. Other heat recovery systems are RECUPERATORS various type of HEAT EXCHANGERS.
 
HEAT REGENERATING SYSTEM (HRS)
 
HRS is the most efficient waste heat recovery system using direct contact method for heat exchange. The heat exchange is done with the help of twin ceramic towers, through which the hot gas (heating medium) and cold gas (heated medium) passes alternatively. The ceramic tower is heated with the flue or waste hot gas, thus recovering the heat and storing in the special ceramic bed. Then the cold air or gas is allowed to pass through the same tower to regenerate heat from ceramic bed to be utilized in the process.
